Linkages: The whole idea here is to reduce slop in any control surface. There are many fine linkage setup's around. Pick one you like, make sure you install it correctly and you are set. There should be NO binding of any surfaces and you should not hear any servo "hum".. I will assume you do not have digital servos - if you do, lucky you! When I flew power planes, 140 4C engines, the constant pounding would have me replacing plastic linkages every 20-30 flights and for sure before a critical competition. I'm flying electric now, and don't have enough data to support any conclusions.
