BC Precision Aerobatics ChampionshipsAldergrove, British Columbia, Canada. Propnuts Field.Written by Gordon Anderson, NSRCA District 8 Vice PresidentA lot of the pilots in District 8 close the flying season with the BC Precision Aerobatics Championship. Hartley Hughson has held this event for 10 years in Sechelt, this year the event was moved to Propnuts field near Aldergrove. Dennis Graham CD’d the contest with help from Hartley. There were four pilots from the US; Mike Lance, Rex Lesher, Gordon Anderson from D8 and Frank Capone from D7, all Masters Pilots. We had a blast. I will not write a lot because Dave Reaville from Canada West will be writing a full report.
Frank, Meri, Gordon, Mike, and Rex, the US Gang! Hartley held the traditional paper airplane contest Saturday night after our Chinese dinner; we ordered and had it delivered to the field. Chinese take out for 50! Everyone had a great time with good weather and great friends to close the 2005 pattern season. Thanks to all the pilots to made this great event happen.
